Vine Line is built on a simple principle: your vineyard data belongs to you. It lives on your device and never leaves it.
We collect nothing. Vine Line has no accounts, no sign-up, no analytics SDK, and no backend server. There is no way for us to see your data even if we wanted to.
All information you enter — plots, rows, vine health statuses, journal entries, harvest records — is stored locally in a SQLite database on your iPhone. It is never transmitted anywhere.
The app may request access to your location to help you navigate to your vineyard on the map. Location data is used only in-app in real time and is never stored or sent anywhere.
If you attach photos to vines, those photos are stored locally on your device within the app's private storage. They are not uploaded to any server.
Vine Line uses Apple Maps for satellite imagery. Apple's own privacy policy governs map tile requests. We use no other third-party SDKs that collect data.
If you choose to send feedback via the in-app feedback screen, the email is sent directly through your iPhone's Mail app to d.vildanov@icloud.com. We only receive what you write — no automatic data is attached beyond what the app prepends (app version and device model, which you can see before sending).
Vine Line does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.
If we ever change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Since we collect no data, meaningful changes are unlikely.
